I am a twenty-four year young New Yorker. When I say I'm a New Yorker, I say that lightly as I live in Upstate New York and don't live the crazy fun lifestyle filled with a closet full of Manolo Blahnik's, Jimmy Choo's and Louis Vuitton's as seen on Sex & the City (although a girl can dream)! I'm currently an elementary reading teacher for kids K-5. As like most people in the field of education, I am on the never ending (so it feels like anyways) search for a permanent position that's secured. It's a daunting battle, however at the end of the day you need to love what you do-and I surely do love every crazy minute of it!
Being a newlywed and bulldog mommy to Eli is a thrill until we start a family in the near future, until then we are enjoying our time together as husband and wife. We unconditionally love our four pawed baby and the ongoing number of nieces and nephews we have... & are expecting! :) We live in a suburban area not far from the capital with all of our family nearby. Mike & I have quite a long past (which I will save for another upcoming post) and we have an even longer future together. I love to get new ideas from women's fashion & style, home decorating, organization, teaching tidbits, easy cooking/baking recipes (I'm a rookie), and am always interested in life & relationship words of wisdom. There is much more you will learn about me as I spill my guts on this new blog! ;)
